Margaret Grant was a Scottish witch who lived in the nineteenth century and was a self-confessed witch. She declared herself fully able to take any animal form she wished. Of particular note to us however, is that on one occasion she declared that she had been transformed against her will into a pony by "various evil-disposed persons" and ridden for long distances. Sadly, no more is known than this: presumably her own powers of transformation were unavailable to her when coerced into equine shape.
